However, it is often fragmented in its theoretical foundations. With the aim of exploring the theoretical foundations and frontiers of modern biology, the Academia Europaea-Barcelona Knowledge Hub (AE-BKH) has organized «Understanding life», a cycle of five high-impact debates that will be held from October 21 to November 18. These sessions adopt the communicative format of the AE-BJH Frontiers scientific dialogues, held between two researchers and a third moderator.
The cycle will take place weekly, every Wednesday from 18.00 to 19.30, and will be developed entirely in English. Coordinated by renowned academics such as Jaume Bertranpetit, emeritus professor of Biology at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and academic director of AE-BHK, and Juli Peretó, professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Valencia and researcher at the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio), its programme proposes a philosophical and scientific journey through five key frontiers of biology: data, equations, universality, levels of explanation and evolution.

[168,152

post-10962","tribe_events","type-tribe_events","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-dialeg-cientific","tag-frontiers
["GET
